About E-Bike Review
We are an independent, UK-based team helping people choose the right electric bike without the marketing spin.
What we do
E-Bike Review publishes electric bike reviews, comparisons and buying guides written for UK riders. We focus on the things that actually matter day to day: how a bike rides, what it really costs, how far it goes on a charge, and whether it is worth the money.
How we test and research
Our verdicts draw on a mix of hands-on riding, long-term ownership where we have it, feedback from real owners, and the published specifications. Where we have not personally ridden a bike, we say so, and we lean on verifiable specs and owner reports rather than guesswork. We do not invent test figures or scores.
Our independence
We are not owned by, or sponsored by, any bike manufacturer or retailer. No brand can pay to change a ranking or a verdict. The site is funded by advertising and affiliate commissions, which never influence what we recommend. You can read more on our affiliate disclosure page.
A note on UK e-bike law
Throughout the site we refer to UK EAPC rules: a legal electric bike has a motor of up to 250W, assistance that cuts out at 15.5mph, and a rider aged 14 or over. Anything more powerful is treated as a motor vehicle and has separate legal requirements. See our e-bike law guide for the detail.
